Madrid
Madrid Streets
Stone, traffic and late sun, a walking portrait made between two appointments.
The brief
A city portrait with no set and no crew truck: tailoring against monument stone, shot on the move while Madrid carried on around us.
The idea
Keep the frame wide enough for the architecture to speak, and let the walk do the styling. No poses held longer than a breath.
On set
Two hours, one lens, a handful of blocks. The best frames came from the moments between direction, when the traffic light turned and the street emptied.
The city was the stylist. We only had to keep up with it.
