Bali
Beach · Black & White
Salt water, hard midday sun, and the work of doing considerably less.
The brief
A monochrome swim and skin story shot in open water, no styling to hide behind.
The idea
Strip the palette to black and white so the frame lives on texture: wet hair, grain, light on water.
On set
Shot in and out of the surf across a single morning. The laughter frames were unplanned and stayed in the edit.
Bali is where I learned that stillness photographs louder than effort.
